Had these for yonks (again, well over a decade!) and they've been rattling around one box or another variously until the time came for their time with the brush.
Still not entirely 100% happy with them, but it'll do for now. Well forever, really, as I'm not repainting them!
More than do for now surely! I like the striking colour scheme, they've come out really well!

I'm a big fan of Adeptus Arbites. There's one faction I would love GW to bring back into the fold. the new Enforcer models for Necromunda are quite nice and if anything prove they really could update them, I'm thinking about using them for a small converted Arbites force sometime.
ReplyDeleteI had a quick look at those and they could really work for some Arbites. If I hadn't had these rattling about, gagging for use for so long, then I'd have been tempted by the Enforcers. Was thinking about making another set, with riot shields, as thats a fairly simple conversion - roman shields plus suitable headbusters!
DeleteWhy did they never do more with Arbites? I suppose the ever increasing push towards bigger 40K games and the Arbites not really fitting smartly into any one force did for that. But for stuff like Genestealer Cult gaming, the Arbites are the natural choice for the heavies to take it on.
