Napoleonic French Skirmishers

Nothing special, some mixed order/skirmishers for the French.

Again, fairly simple and quick to paint.

HUSSAR!

Hussars. Leaving that image rolling around for a moment, as who doesn't love Hussars?

When I'm on the bike (custom Condor special - photographed here,) I consider myself a Hussar of the London roads, mainly as I'm risking life and limb when out there..............

The Guard Dies But Does Not Surrender!

Hard man words, Sir, truly hard man words.

Old Guard, French Imperial Guard, Grognards. Double hard bastards.

Nice and quick to paint, thankfully. Only had them in the grey plastic for about five years as well.........still need to do the banners though

On to Middle and Young!

ACW - Confederate Skirmishers

For a break, heres some ACW skirmish units. As ever, Confederates are simplicity themselves to produce en masse, so painted these as a bit of a break.

These here below plus the ones I already had makes it 30 skirmishers now, so its possible to play some Rebels and Patriots or similar, I reckon. Not far off finishing my ACW altogether now as well! 

Orcs!

Had a LOTR twitch over the last few weeks, so dug out some old unpainted stuff I've had kicking around for years and set about it. Nothing too difficult, nor too taxing.

Think we'll probably use the Erehwon rules for these, if they ever see the table. Not that I don;t like the GW  system when playing it in the past, but those combat rules were something I never could really get on with as its basically "who can roll a 6?"

Painted some Wargs too but don't seem to have photographed them.......oh well, next time.
